[How To] Jailbreak 2.2 iPhone 3G / iPod Touch

For people that want cracked ipas, you use the same mobile installation file as you do for the 2.1 firmware.

I will be showing you how to jailbreak (a.k.a being able to install 3rd party applications) with a 2.2 iPod Touch and iPhone including 3g.
You cannot do this on an iPod Touch 2G yet.

Steps:
1. Install the quickpwn from here: http://mirrors.nsa.co.il/iphone/QuickPwn22.zip
or if you can use bittorents, download this: http://torrents.thepiratebay.org/4527189/QuickPwn22.zip.4527189.TPB.torrent
and download it.
2. Make sure you are on 2.2 software on your device.
3. Open QuickPwn and follow each step carefully.
4. Wait for you device to restart.
5. Check your device to see if it is successfully jailbroken along with the 2.2 software and cydia or installer if you chose to put those on the device.
6. Enjoy!

in more info it states that this is not possible on an itouch 2g…. yes the one with the speaker on the outside…. wasnt clearly stated in the video so i was halfway through this when i figured it out… its taking too long for some1 to figure it out… one way people have figured it out for ipod 2g requires disasembling your ipod… hopefully an easier way is discovered soon

No, sorry. There is no 2nd gen jailbreak yet. Its only for 1st gen (without speaker) that have 2.2 update and iPhones.
I get this error: 0xc0000135.
Any idea why?
